DESCRIPTION:Times of dynamic geopolitical upheaval in the global power arc
 hitecture present Europe with a major challenge. Dealing with Russia since
  its attack on Ukraine\, the encounter with China in view of its growing p
 ower awareness and presence on the world stage\, and the development of re
 lations with the USA require fundamental rethinking of the European securi
 ty and defence structure. This also raises the question of whether a commo
 n Franco-German line can be found in this context - or whether it is even 
 aspired to.\n\nThese and other questions will be addressed in the event "G
 lobal Power Shift - Do We Still Have a Common Franco-German Perspective?" 
 as part of the discussion series "Franco-German Strategic Dialogue". On th
 e occasion of the annual "International Security Forum Bonn"\, we are plea
 sed to host the dialogue exclusively as a pre-event.
