DESCRIPTION:The deliberate spread of disinformation has dramatically gaine
 d importance in recent years and represents a central challenge for democr
 acies around the world. False or misleading information is intentionally u
 sed to create uncertainty\, amplify societal tensions\, and undermine trus
 t in governmental institutions. In the context of international conflicts\
 , such as Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine\, the strategic use
  of disinformation as a hybrid threat element becomes especially evident. 
 Together with distinguished experts\, we will discuss the following questi
 ons: How does disinformation influence the global security architecture an
 d power dynamics? What approaches are Germany and France taking in the fig
 ht against disinformation? How can democratic states strengthen the resili
 ence of their societies and cooperate across borders?
