DESCRIPTION:The power outage in Spain in April 2025 highlighted how vulner
 able European energy networks are – and how central they have become to 
 our societies. Energy networks not only supply households and businesses w
 ith electricity\, they also ensure economic stability\, public order\, and
  the ability to act for states.\n\nAs part of the Franco-German Strategic 
 Dialogue\, we want to analyze the resilience of these grids with German an
 d French experts and discuss how Europe's energy infrastructure can be mad
 e more crisis-proof. This also involves exploring the consequences of ener
 gy policy decisions taken in recent years and how current challenges – s
 uch as digitalization\, decentralization\, climate policy\, and geopolitic
 al tensions – are further exacerbating the security situation. What role
  do France and Germany play in this important strategic realignment?
