Yen-Chi Lu studied history at Soochow University (Taiwan) and political science at Free University of Berlin. He completed the master's degree in political science at the University of Bonn. From 2017 to 2019, Yen-Chi Lu led the academic department of European Federation of Taiwanese Associations. Since December 2020, Yen-Chi Lu started working as a research assistant at the Chair of International Relations and Global Technology Policy at the University of Bonn.
