Philip Ackermann studied Political Science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and completed his Master in Strategic Studies at Aberystwyth University, Wales, in Great Britain. He previously worked as a research assistant at the Center for International Security and Governance.

Simone Becker studied Political Science and Romance Studies at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Università degli Studi di Sassari. She is currently working on her PhD with Prof. Dr. Grit Straßenberger. Prior to her work at CASSIS, she worked at the Center for International Security and Governance and at the Center for Global Studies, University of Bonn.

Malte Schrage studied History and Political Science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. He then completed his master's degree in political science in Bonn and at the University of New Mexico, USA. He is currently working on his PhD with Prof. Dr. Wolfram Hilz. Prior to his work as CASSIS, he worked at the Center for International Security and Governance.
