Profile

Marcel Turlach

has been a research associate at the Henry Kissinger Professorship for Security and Strategy Research since October 2020.

Previously, he was a project manager at the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS) for the project Security Research.NRW initiated by the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia. Marcel Turlach holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Sciences and Sociology with a focus on International Relations from Christian Albrechts University in Kiel and Andrássy University in Budapest.

Mr Turlach obtained his Master of Arts in Political Sciences in 2020 with a Master's thesis on the evaluation of the EU's strategic capability in cyber security at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.

Marcel Turlach is currently working on his doctorate under Prof. Dr Ulrich Schlie.
