China's rapid modernization has made the country a leading economic and technological power with global appeal. Not only the Covid 19 pandemic has made it clear that China's modernity is a challenge from a European perspective, raising normative, economic and political questions. The dialogue series "Understanding China's Modernity - European Reflections" approaches these questions from a variety of perspectives and through the lens of different disciplines.
