Profile

Marcel Turlach is a research associate at the Henry Kissinger Professorship for Security and Strategy Research since October 2020.
Previously, he served as project manager for the Security Research.NRW project initiated by the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia at the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS).
Marcel Turlach holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology with a focus on International Relations from the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel and the Andrássy University Budapest. Mr. Turlach earned his Master of Arts in Political Science in 2020 with a master's dissertation on the evaluation of the EU's strategic capability in cybersecurity at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
Currently, Marcel Turlach is working on his PhD under Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schlie.
