Comprehensive crisis prevention in Germany – can we do it?
January 22, 2026 / 7:00 p.m. to open end / Hybrid event / Visitor Center of the Federal Ministry of Defense, Fontainengraben 150, 53123 Bonn
Holistic security measures encompass more than just civil and military defense. Whether it's disasters of any kind, cyberattacks on government institutions and critical infrastructure, or even the aforementioned effects of war, the focus is on protecting and ensuring the safety of people. This also includes personal assistance and protective measures, ranging from at least a minimum supply of food and first aid skills to coordinated neighborhood assistance. What are the responsibilities of the state, and what can individuals do to ensure safety in times of crisis? We would like to explore these and other questions during the event and discuss them with you.
CASSIS, in cooperation with the Society for Security Policy (GSP), the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), the Clausewitz Society, and the Association of Reservists of the German Armed Forces (VdRdBw), invites you to this hybrid lecture event (in-person and Zoom).
The registration deadline for in-person participation is January 15, 2025.
Participation via Zoom is possible without registration.
