The multilateral system is under immense pressure. Geopolitical rivalries, institutional deadlocks, and fragmented centers of power are shaping the international order. The conference will discuss possible scenarios for global realignment and Europe’s role amid the tension between the need for reform and strategic adaptation. The session is taking place as part of the French G7 presidency, which aims to address key issues of global governance and international cooperation.
The events taking place as part of the Franco-German Strategic Dialogue are organized by the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS) in cooperation with the Institut Français, the Centre Ernst Robert Curtius (CERC), and the Bonn University Group for Foreign and Security Policy (BHAS). The entire series of events is financially supported by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.
