Dr. Joachim Weber believes it is entirely possible that a lone perpetrator is behind the acts of sabotage at the substations in Brandenburg and near Cologne, as current investigations suggest. There are many indications that the suspect, Daniel V., has ties to the climate extremist scene, according to Federal Interior Minister Dobrindt in the same report. Weber added that attacks on critical infrastructure are, unfortunately, not difficult to carry out.
