Pope Francis' recent statements on the war in Ukraine have sparked a controversial discussion on the Catholic Church's peace policy. In a guest commentary in the NZZ, Prof. Schlie and Prof. Sautermeister argue that “the Pope's statements, like the German bishops' latest peace statement, lack a clear and knowledgeable analysis of the facts.”
