Among other things, Dr. Weber emphasized that Ukraine's forces were increasingly exhausted and that Europe might have to prepare itself for painful concessions. With regard to the US, he stressed that its security policy engagement was increasingly shaped by economic interests. In times of a strategic focus on China, security commitments to Ukraine could become less reliable.
