Young people from all over the world came together in Milan from March 18-19, 2024 as part of the "Next Forum Milan" to discuss global challenges and trends of all kinds. As a platform for critical exchange, the forum is embedded in the Next network, organized and managed by the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and Bocconi University.

The conference hosted experienced speakers from politics, business, science and society, including Paolo Gentiloni, EU Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs, Oleksandra Matviichuk, Ukrainian human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner, and John R. Allen, former President of the Brookings Institution. In addition to the plenary debates, the student representatives of the U7+ Alliance developed their own policy proposals on the topics of "Global Access to Higher Education" and "Climate Change and Sustainability", which will be presented to the presidents at their conference in the summer.
