Profile
Prof. Aylin Ünver Noi is a Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Beykoz University in Istanbul and a Senior Fellow at the Transatlantic Leadership Network (TLN). She previously served as a Senior Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations (CTR) at Johns Hopkins University’s Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Her past roles also include membership on the Board and Advisory Council of the Mediterranean Citizens’ Assembly Foundation (FACM) in Valencia and Senior Fellowship at the Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) in Istanbul.
Prof. Ünver Noi holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Bilkent University and completed her master’s and Ph.D. at the European Union Institute of Marmara University. She later earned her associate professorship in International Relations. Throughout her academic career, she has taught courses on International Organizations, European Union international politics, and Turkish foreign policy at several universities.
Her research focuses on transatlantic relations and European Union and US policies toward the Mediterranean and the Middle East. She has authored numerous scholarly articles and book chapters, as well as several books as both author and co-editor.
Prof. Ünver Noi has also written op-eds for The Huffington Post, The Hill, Anadolu Agency, and Daily Sabah, and she frequently appears on television to provide expert commentary on international affairs.
