Prof. Aylin Ünver Noi ist Professorin für Politikwissenschaft und Internationale Beziehungen an der Beykoz-Universität in Istanbul und Senior Fellow beim Transatlantic Leadership Network (TLN). Zuvor war sie Senior Fellow am Center for Transatlantic Relations (CTR) der Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) der Johns Hopkins University. Zu ihren früheren Tätigkeiten zählen außerdem die Mitgliedschaft im Vorstand und Beirat der Mediterranean Citizens' Assembly Foundation (FACM) in Valencia und eine Senior Fellowship bei der Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) in Istanbul.
Prof. Ünver Noi hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Internationalen Beziehungen von der Bilkent University und absolvierte ihren Master und ihre Promotion am European Union Institute der Marmara University. Später erwarb sie eine außerordentliche Professur für Internationale Beziehungen. Im Laufe ihrer akademischen Karriere hat sie an mehreren Universitäten Kurse zu internationalen Organisationen, der internationalen Politik der Europäischen Union und der türkischen Außenpolitik unterrichtet.
Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die transatlantischen Beziehungen sowie die Politik der Europäischen Union und der USA gegenüber dem Mittelmeerraum und dem Nahen Osten. Sie hat zahlreiche wissenschaftliche Artikel und Buchkapitel sowie mehrere Bücher, sowohl als Autorin als auch als Mitherausgeberin, verfasst.
Außerdem hat sie Gastkommentare für The Huffington Post, The Hill, Anadolu Agency und Daily Sabah verfasst und tritt häufig im Fernsehen auf, um Experteneinschätzungen zu internationalen Angelegenheiten zu liefern.
