The aim of the partnership is to communicate the holistic approach of a networked security policy to a broad public and to promote social discourse on peace, freedom, and sovereignty in Germany. Both institutions are united by their desire to analyze current developments in the international security order in an interdisciplinary manner and to bring them into the public dialogue.
The cooperation includes, among other things, the joint planning and implementation of lecture events, seminars, symposia, and specialist conferences, as well as partnership-based exchange in publications and the media. In this way, CASSIS and GSP are strengthening their role as bridge builders between academia, politics, and society on issues of foreign and security policy.
