Prof. Ulrich Schlie wrote a guest commentary on Germany's new security strategy for the Tagespost. The new publication does not deliver what it promised. The term "turning point in time" would not be defined for German security policy, instead it would only be "fine words".

The commentary appeared in the print edition of the Tagespost on June 22, 2023 (Vol. 76, No. 25).

Ulrich Schlie is director of the Center for Advanced Security, Strategic and Integration Studies (CASSIS) and Henry Kissinger Professor of Security and Strategic Studies at the Institute for Political Science and Sociology.
