The USA warns Israel of a possible retaliatory strike against Iran. Is American hesitation helping the mullah regime?

Following the Iranian attack on Israel, US President Joe Biden (81) made it "very clear" in a telephone conversation with Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (74) that "careful and strategic consideration" must be given to the risks of escalation, a high-ranking US government representative said on Sunday.

The White House announced that Biden had reaffirmed the US's "ironclad commitment" to Israel's security. However, the US did not want to go along with a counterattack.

"Iran's attack has created a strategic dilemma for the US," Prof. Dr. Ulrich Schlie, Director of CASSIS at the University of Bonn, told BILD. This is because the USA "cannot help but stand firmly on Israel's side".
