According to Dr. Joachim Weber, Ukraine finds itself in a delicate situation. From the security expert's point of view, Europeans are currently too weak militarily to replace the US as arbitrator in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Dr. Weber analyzed that European societies are neither prepared for a potential war with Russia, nor would the current level of equipment of the European armed forces be sufficient for this. Therefore, Dr. Weber summarized: “There will be no absolute guarantee for Ukraine in the face of such a power-hungry neighbor as [...] Russia [...]”.
